01 — Our view
A custom perfume, not a webshop pick

A custom perfume starts with a goal. Who wears it? Where does it live? What should people remember? A company that has a fragrance made needs to know what the fragrance is for.
Nose & Partners builds fragrance for brands, hotels, retailers and interior houses. It is not a hobby project and not a webshop pick. We build a composition that fits the brand, the space, or the product.
Two routes exist. The first is a selection from The Scent Library, our archive of finished compositions. The second is a bespoke track: a new composition, built around a briefing, a material, a brand story, or a product idea. Both work with perfumers and with fine-fragrance materials.
Where the fragrance lives — on the skin, in a home fragrance line, in a room, or in a corporate gift — shapes the composition. Each route has its own choices for format, packaging and next steps.
A brand chooses bespoke when an existing composition is not enough and the brand, the space, or the product needs a story of its own. The application shapes how the composition is built: a fragrance for the skin asks for something different than a fragrance for a room, a gift, or a product line.

From scent idea to production-ready composition

- 01
Briefing
A conversation with our team. We look at the brand, the space, the audience, and how the fragrance will be used.
- 02
Olfactive direction
The briefing is translated into a perfumer brief: direction, character, use, and practical requirements.
- 03
Development
The perfumer builds the composition with fine-fragrance materials. Structure, depth, and character are built in.
- 04
Refinement
You smell. We discuss. The perfumer adjusts. This step repeats until the fragrance works in the format it will live in.
- 05
Production and use
Once approved, we define the right route to production and use. That depends on the chosen format and application.

How we work

Bespoke compositions are developed with perfumers and fine-fragrance materials. Every track starts with a briefing or a creative session, and ends only when the fragrance works in the format it will live in. Two routes are possible. The Scent Library for projects that combine speed and quality with a guided selection. Bespoke for projects that need a signature of their own. Our pages on bespoke creation, private label and fragrance show what we do per route and which choices fit which product. After approval, we define the right production and application route for the chosen format.
06 — Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions
What does it cost to make a custom perfume?
The price depends on the route, the format, the run size, and the number of iterations. In a first conversation we lay out the options side by side, with no commitment.
Can I have a perfume made for my brand?
Yes. Bespoke creation starts with a briefing on brand, audience and use. The composition is developed around the brand, the audience, and the application. After approval, we define the right route to production and use.
Can Nose & Partners develop the fragrance itself?
Yes. Bespoke compositions are built by perfumers with fine-fragrance materials. You smell, we adjust, until the fragrance is right.
Is this suitable for small runs?
The Scent Library is often a shorter route than bespoke. The workable run size depends on the format, the route, and the first order.
What is the difference between a custom perfume and private label perfume?
A custom perfume is about the composition itself. Private label is about the finished product with your brand on it. Often they run together: first the fragrance, then the product.
Can the fragrance also be used in a space?
Yes. The same composition can be used for professional diffusion in hotels, retail, showrooms or offices. If the fragrance is also used as a product, we then define the right production route.
How long does a custom perfume take?
It depends on the chosen route, the number of feedback rounds, and the final format. In the first conversation we give a realistic indication for your project.
Can I use an existing fragrance as a starting point?
An existing fragrance can help as a direction, but the goal is a composition of your own that fits the brand, the application, and the format.
